But damn, that high of MPG from the SI?! Regular gas too?

I use premium as it dumbs things down like the Fords do when you use regular. Mileage was the same in the two tanks I tried it, but it was very noticeable, when the 10 or so HP loss is 5% of your total power. It's not fast by any means, but it's not a dog either. I commute on a two-lane highway and need to be able to easily pass from 50-80mph pretty quickly and it does it just fine; it's a tick slower than my '15 GTI, but not my much. I'm sure some of the mileage comes from the OEM light/eco tires that have low grip, but the car handles well and the adjustable dampers do a remarkable job of appropriately firming up the ride to handle corners well in sport mode and be very compliant in normal.
It's a very good commuter if you are good with a manual trans. It's also about the easiest manual I've ever driven, which includes the uber-light clutches of Audi and VW.
The lowest MPG I've seen is 34.7 and that was plenty of city driving and eating lunch in the car with the engine running. I'm constantly seeing over 38mpg. I went on the interstate up to Chatanooga and back down to Fayetteville, through ATL and avg 40.8 for the trip, driving well above 80 the majority of the way.

Picked up a new to me Bobcat T300, going to vastly improve my dirtbike riding situation. Took my dump trailer not knowing how big this thing was, had about 2" on either side to spare!

Even though I have no more room to store any 'toys', I talked the wife into a couple more and a trailer for the toys I already have. Truck is now relegated to sitting outside on the driveway.

Not many trails where I'm at, but they will get used for ice fishing a lot around here, and then we will go to Northern MN where my brother lives. Lots of trails up there.

There is a trail system down by Fairibult. Been there once. Fun enough.
