Well my best friend of 9 years and apartment/living mate for 5 years moved out. Most of the major living items we bought half/half , because both were broke in college.
In 2013 we bought a nice 52” TV that was 480$ back in the day. Well he took it with him to his new place so I needed a new one.
Well I picked up a 55” UHD 4K 120hz Smart TV for 300$ at Nebraska Furniture Mart (was my first time in that store. HOLY SH*T)
Man, the old TV was nice but this thing is insane. Crisp image and so much more fine detail. I do play video games quite a bit when I’m home (cheap hobby) and damn it look a good!
I hate spending this kind of coin. But if I use it for 5 years like the last one my buddy took, that’s 5$ a month. Can’t really complain about that..Comment

Bought a new to me backpacking stove for some motocamping. It’s a msr whisperlite international, works pretty damn good on just plain Coleman camp fuel. Self cleaning shaker jet style stove, it’s pretty bulletproof.
Just timed it by boiling water, 30 seconds before bubbles start forming, ready to cook at 2 minutes, and a full boil at 2 minutes 30.
