  • Looking for a fairing…

Just picked up an ‘03 Bee, but the PO had dropped it while unloading from a truck, and dinged up the corners of the fairing pretty badly. Black & yellow would be ideal, but anything in one piece can be worked with… Cheers!

Check with Danny Devitoo on here! I know he has a couple of these. They are also readily available to purchase brand new (at least the blue ones are...I bought one a few months ago for a fix-up project).

$304 might be cheaper at boats.net

Certainly would cost more to paint one that was damaged.

The solid color fairings at boats.net are a lot cheaper than the black/yellow fairing or the ones on ebay. I think the were around $195.

What is this boats.net spoken of here? I found this https://www.boats.net/ but it seems to only have marine, outboard, wave runner etc stuff. Why would they have a motorcycle fairing? What am I missing here?

You have the right site. I believe Boat.Net is a Yamaha oem marine dealer who can also get bike parts and can probably get Yamaha piano parts as well (kidding). I also believe it is owned by Revzilla. So go to your favorite Yamaha parts site with a fishe. Look up the Yamaha part no. and then plug it into boats.nets search at top of page. They consistently beat Partshark but I'm not comparing shipping costs and this could be where they make back the difference. Do your due diligence on shipping before pulling trigger.
For the yellow/black fairing Revzilla wants $371, Part Shark wants $305 and Boats.net wants $284.

Again all the solid color fairings are a lot cheaper

Thanks all! Yes, I found the solid (if I find a black one, I can get a “wrap” made for the yellow parts) ones are available at boats, and much cheaper. Not possible to get the OEM yellow graphics anymore, so it’s either the wrap, or some other form of creativity
