  • NIB FZ1 Retro kit

I have a new, never used FZ1 retro kit that I wouldn't mind selling. What is it worth?

I bought one from a dealer some years back for around $700.

I paid more than that when I got it. If that is all I can get, then back on the shelf it goes.

Clearly subjective.......... I paid 1100 for a set here maybe 2 years back. Complete kit with tank and a white fender as a spare.
Don't know why they call it Hamburger Helper, stuff does just fine by itself........

I don't think it is unreasonable to recover what I paid for it. I thought it might appreciate, but obviously it hasn't.

Absolutely not unreasonable especially since they are discontinued...................................... ............

I think the peak demand was a few years back, I came close to buying a set riiiiggghhhtt before I stuffed mine into a ditch. Glad I didn't buy a set. It will sell, hell if I had a Gen2, I'd be a buyer!

Don't know what you paid so don't know if you should expect to get your investment back , BUT .....Shipping will be your problem. When I bought it for $700.00 that was the SHIPPED price , and one of the reasons so many of us jumped on them . Now shipping has gone through the roof and that's two big heavy boxes. Hope for a local sale. It was a very nice kit . I wish mine was in my den as eye candy.

As I recall, I paid something around 1200 shipped. I should have shopped around more, but that is what I found. I still have my FZ and ride it every so often, but probably will never install the Retro Kit.

Sent a few people to this thread from a FB post. Funny how "OMG I want that" turns into "maybe later" once presented with the opportunity to actually own that. Hah.
